TodayFM’s Dermot & Dave are headed to Crosshaven for a very special live radio broadcast on the Tuesday 3rd October. TodayFM teamed up with Bord na Mona to find everyday Sustainability Heroes around the country. A sustainable hero is very simply someone who does their bit to minimise their impact on the planet by the way they consume energy, dispose of waste or design clever initiatives to make the most of the natural world around them.

Not only will TodayFM roll into town to broadcast their hugely popular 9-12 show live from Crosshaven but they will build a Naturally Driven Pop Up Cafe to host this very exciting event and give hosts Crosshaven AFC two thousand euro in cash to invest in their community.

“We are excited to get down and meet everyone in Crosshaven and hear all about their practical sustainable initiatives in the club. It is a beautiful part of the country so we are really looking forward to it” Dermot Whelan, Presenter

“Looking forward to seeing the Bord Na Mona Naturally Driven Cafe as we will be broadcasting live from it on the day and inviting local listeners – it will be some craic lads!” Dave Moore, Presenter

“We are bursting to be able to tell everyone that Dermot & Dave are coming to Crosshaven. We are thrilled to have won the Bord na Mona competition. Great news for the club and overall Crosshaven community.” John Duggan, Crosshaven AFC who applied via TodayFM.com to host.
