Juniors were back in action again last Saturday at home to Park Utd. Two changes from last week's game saw Cian Kingston return from suspension along with Jamie Byrne slotting in left back. Opening 20 mins saw the blues very unsettled on the ball, but eventually settled down and started playing good football. 5 mins later Jamie Byrne delivered a superb cross, keeper spilled it and Gavin put it in the back of the net. From there the blues started to push on very quickly with some great link up plays, when Nikita found some space to turn 2 defenders in the box and put it in the net. Half time Crosshaven 2-0 Park Utd. Second half started just as the first half finished with some great football being played and another goal looking inevitable. A foul just outside the box gave Cian a great chance from a free kick, to which he buried it into the net on the keepers side. With a 3 goal lead and looking very comfortable the management decided to open out all the bench in the closing 25mins, which proved the strength in dept, as great play put Adam Kiely through to tuck home his first goal back in the blue.
Man of the Match Cian Kingston.
Full time Crosshaven 4-0 Park Utd

Crosshaven now sit 3rd in the league only 1 point off top, the blues are away to Wilton next Sunday morning at 10:45 ko, which is sure to be a great display of football as always.

Come on the Blues 🔵🔵🔵

Crosshaven 5 Rockmount 3 -
The 13's faced Rockmount this afternoon in a rip roaring cup tie that had everything. Crosshaven started brightly with JP Curtin, Alex O'Connell & Rhys Kelly Noonan a constant threat going forward. Despite playing well though Crosshaven were making a few silly errors defensively & Rockmount were all too happy to cspitlise firing in 3 unanswered goals before the break.
Crosshaven regrouped at the break, addressed their defensive issues & from the first minute of the second half took the game to the visitors. Alex O'Connell with a stunning hat trick unbelievably drew Crosshaven level before JP Curtin stepped up to fire Crosshaven ahead with five minutes remaining with a stunning free kick. Rockmount pushed hard to force extra time but couldn't breach the Crosshaven defence and as the seconds ticked away Rhys Kelly Noonan raced clear before picking out O'Connell for his fourth to seal Rockmounts fate. Man of the Match - Alex O'Connell but he was pushed hard for that title by the other played on the pitch. Squad: Oisin Doran Noonan, Ashton Hourican, Shay Murphy, Jim White, Sean Canty, Daniel Callanan, Rory Deane, JP Curtin, Fionn Mansfield (c), Alex O'Connell, Rhys Kelly Noonan, Thomas O'Mahony, Luca Bogan, Kieran Murphy, Eamon O'Dwyer, Jack Forde, Rian Coleman & Billy Moore.
