Crosshaven u13 played Macroom in Camden on Sunday after a week of storms and disruption in Crosshaven. The lads started well and despite conceding a silly goal against the run of play, didn't panic and the rewards came. Captain Eoin O Halloran scored first followed by the ever reliable Rhys Kelly Noonan and a long range screamer from Adam Gumley to take a deserved 3-1 lead. However Macroom didn't come to make up the numbers and went on a scoring spree themselves to draw level during the second half. Fionn Mansfield put the home team back in front after some great build up play and Crosser continued to pile on the pressure. Macroom responded with an equaliser and despite several close calls, that's the way it ended. 4-4. Three draws leaves the team further down the table than their performances deserve, but it is still early days in Division 2. ... See MoreSee Less

Welcome to Crosshaven AFC

Founded  by the British Army Garison who were based in Fort Camden. The club held its first AGM on Tuesday 13th September 1898 in Camden, and although the club has had various homes around the village of Crosshaven including Church Bay Road, Graball Bay and more famously “the Bog”, Crosshaven AFC finally returned to Camden in the 1980’s, where the club has remained ever since.
