Monster result for the U15’s tonight in Camden defeating Avondale 6-1 on a beautiful evening for football. Crosshaven dominated from the off with Ronan O’Donoughue in superb form linking up with Ethan Berkery-Kelly down the right. The opening score came in the 12th minute when Zach Murphy headed home a Rory O’Sullivan corner. Zach doubled Crosshaven’s lead ten minutes later finishing well at the near post. An injury to Ethan saw the introduction of new signing Diego Campos who looked lively down the right. Lee Davies fired Crosser 3-0 up before another injury saw Rory O’Sullivan forced off to be replaced by Cameron McIndoe who grew in stature as the game went on alongside the excellent Owen Merchant. Diego crowned his debut with a poachers finish before Avondale pulled a goal back with an unstoppable free kick before Davies got his second from the spot. Diego rounded off the scoring for his second & Crosshaven’s sixth goal. Stunning team performance with five subs used. Crosshaven now face St Mary’s away next Saturday at 11:15.
